As a visitor

Tourism (eTA, visa)
If you plan to travel to Canada as a tourist, or even just in transit to another country, you may need an Electronic Travel Authorization, also known as an eTA, or a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV). This will depend, among other factors, on your nationality, reason for the visit, etc.

For business reasons
In the context of the Mexico-United States-Canada Agreement (TMEC) and other trade and investment agreements, a growing number of entrepreneurs, potential investors and personnel of international corporations need to enter Canada on a temporary basis.
To visit children / grandchildren (Super Visa)
The large, varied and growing community of Canadian residents of foreign origin has led to the creation of special devices to allow greater flexibility for family visits. Such is the case with the Super Visa for Parents and Grandparents (often referred to simply as the Super Visa), which is issued, under certain conditions, for a period of ten years and allows parents and grandparents to stay in Canada for up to two consecutive years. .

Extension of a stay as a visitor
Once in Canada, a visitor may wish to extend an authorized stay, in which case a Visitor Record (VR) must be requested. If approved, it will include the conditions and the date the person must leave the country.
